I need a boss.

Bosses are so smart and so boss-y.

Sometimes I need direction and focus. Bosses are great at telling people what to do.

Other times I’m motivated to do the work that fuels my soul. Great bosses align my passion with jobs that need to get done, and that’s where the real magic happens.

I’m pretty smart, but sometimes I don’t know what the heck I’m doing. Like, a lot of the time. It’s because I like to take on new projects—do things I’ve never done before. Great companies hire talent and invest in skill development.

There are days I need someone to understand I’m tired. Give me an intellectual hug. Validate me. That helps me engage back in my work so much more quickly.

I feel inspired by my boss’s clear vision. I have my own clear vision, too.  Great boss-y bosses combine the two, and together we move mountains.

As an employee, doing a good job for others makes me feel amazing about myself. I need a boss who supports me.

Actually, I am a boss. I hope my employees think I’m a great one.

I love great bosses. Have you known one?
