My volunteer experience encompasses my work with: National Association on Mental Illness (NAMI) Peer to Peer Facilitator; Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Skills (DBT) Weekly Training Workshops; Conference Speaker, Council on Drug and Alcohol; National Conference Speaker, National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).

My non profit work achievements include: raised awareness of Members of Congress, White House staff, lobbyists and congressional staffers on public policy matters; secured Political Action Committee (PAC), individual and in-kind contributions for both challengers and incumbent Members of Congress; represented the interests of my organization at White House briefings and receptions; established a private foundation with Senator Gordon Humphrey to educate businessmen on the role of media in public policy sentiment formation; conducted all aspects of direct mail fundraising, including list procurement, message composition, mailing, receipt processing and accounting.

Additionally, I have done extensive pro-bono and volunteer work with individuals undergoing some of life’s biggest challenges such as: drug and alcohol addiction, divorce, loss of a child and mental health disorders.

MY STORY:

My expertise was born from my own severe mental health crisis while working in Corporate America. Through that experience I intensely sought answers on how to achieve good mental health, and beyond that, to understand how our thoughts affect outcome. The result was years of study and skill building, having become a master-level meditator, and gave me the opportunity to be mentored by some of the most influential people on our planet. The experiences I have had as a coach and speaker have afforded me the chance to collaborate with individuals confronting enormous problems to help them realize their potential and become the biggest, brightest human beings one could ever imagine. My mission is to put the tools of thought technology into the hands of those wishing to make a difference in this world and I am especially interested in working with organizations because of their reach and impact.
